Painting of the Day
Watercolor, 5"x7"
$100 Please send me an e-mail if you would like to purchase this.
I've been putting off posting this for a few days, because I had planned to write a little about using gouache with watercolor (part 2 of the tagging obligation I've set myself), which is what I did in this painting, but I can't find the time to write anything meaningful or even coherent right now, so here it is, without elaboration for now. Just a little figment of my imagination.

Oh Mineke, this is a stunning piece of work! Please write about using gouache, I have never been successful combining the two, but would like to try.
I like your paintings very much!
What a beautiful painting.
You know, of course, that I would love this painting... and I do! Beautiful!
Thanks, Dianne, I'll write about gouache soon, just trying to find the time.
Thank you, Lucie and Art with Liz for your visits and comments. I appreciate it.
Thanks Suzanne, it was one of those "intuitive paintings" (I didn't know this, but I learned that is what they are called) Every now and then the urge strikes..
